This local picturesque waterfall provides an idyllic spot for a picnic and is reached by 4WD through magnificent scenery. Visit the spectacular Bloomfield Falls; from here it is a short drive to the beautiful Cedar Bay National Park home to a wonderful variety of wildlife including the rare and elusive Bennett’s tree-kangaroo, the endangered southern cassowary and beach stone-curlew. Walk though the World Heritage rainforest to Gap Creek, an idyllic picnic and swimming spot where you stop for one of Bloomfield gourmet lunches and enjoy a refreshing dip in the cool water of the creek.
