We will require a deposit of $100 per person in order to confirm your booking.
The balance of your stay must be paid 28 days prior to your arrival. If the balance is not paid on time we may cancel your booking and apply the cancellation conditions. Deposits are not refundable unless we are unable to confirm your original booking request.

Please contact us for single rates, additional person rates, bookings with children and stays of more than seven or less than four nights.
Please advise any special dietary requirements at the time of booking.
The lodge is set on a hillside and some rooms maybe unsuitable for anyone with walking difficulties.
Flights normally depart for Bloomfield at 09.00 and return to Cairns approximately 11.00. You are therefore recommended to stay in Cairns the night before your Bloomfield stay. Exact timings of your courtesy car collection will be confirmed by fax to your hotel the night before your transfer to Bloomfield.
Bar expenditure, tours and purchases can be settled on departure in cash (Australian Dollars) Australian Dollar Travellers cheques or the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners.
Due to aircraft size baggage is restricted to one small bag of 12kg per person.
The dress code is relaxed, light casual clothing is recommended with suitable footwear for bushwalking. Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are essential protection from the sun. Something warm is recommended during the cooler months.
The main tropical rains fall during the hottest months from late December to March but are unpredictable with some years wetter than others.
As many guests do seek to get away from it all Bloomfield Lodge has a strict no children aged under 10 years policy. However, children aged 10 years and over are welcome
During the 'stinger season' usually October to May swimming is only possible on boat excursions to the Great Barrier Reef or in Bloomfield's swimming pool.
Bloomfield is remote and mobile phones do not work there, internet access is not available.
Bloomfield generates its own electricity on a 240v system.
Valuables may be stored in a safe deposit at the office.
Please note that all excursions are subject to availability and to weather and operational considerations.
It is your responsibility to arrive on time for flights and transfers. We reserve the right to cancel any holiday arrangements in the event of unruly behaviour towards airline/hotel representatives or other guests and you will be liable in full for cancellation charges and purchasing replacement accommodation.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure that your stay runs smoothly, there may be occasions when things do not go as planned. If you have a complaint then you must inform the lodge immediately so that they have the opportunity to put things right. . If your complaint or problem has not been resolved to your satisfaction, please write to us within 28 days, giving your booking reference and outlining in full your reason for complaint or dissatisfaction.
